Redstone Guide

Not all redstone inventions that you find on YouTube are going to work on the server due to optimisations that prevent lag on the server - these changes are known to affect note blocks and tripwire hooks.

We would recommend finding contraptions that don't use these functionalities or at least test them on a small scale before you build anything large to make sure they work as expected. Unfortunately, this will require messing about with redstone which can end up being quite complicated.
